# Public procurement

> Slovak public procurement notices and results by supplier or contracting authority company ID through a REST API.

The public procurement journal captures competitions for state contracts, from the call to the award notice. It shows who bids for public money and who wins it.

## What the register contains
- Subject and title of the contract
- Contracting authority and successful bidder
- Estimated and actual contract value
- Dates of the call and the award

## Fields we return

| Field | Meaning |
| --- | --- |
| `count` | Number of contracts the entity won as a successful bidder. |
| `total_awarded_value` | Sum of awarded contract values in EUR, or null when the entity has none. |

## How to request the data

```http
GET /v1/company/ico/51636549?scope=procurement
{
  "procurement_summary": {
    "count": 2,
    "total_awarded_value": 48000
  }
}
```

## How often we update

Weekly. Contracts from the Public Procurement Office and from ITMS2014+ are pulled once a week and merged into a single summary, so EU-funded contracts appear in the same field as national ones.

## What it is used for

Commercial analytics: a contract history tells you whether a company is an established state supplier and at what volumes. In creditworthiness assessment that is a non-trivial revenue source.

Competitive research – who wins contracts in your industry and at what prices.

## Frequently asked questions

### Is this the same as the Central Register of Contracts?

No. Procurement is the competitive process; the contract register holds concluded contracts. For the full cycle you need both sources.

### Will I find contracts the company did not win?

We return published notices including results. Participation by unsuccessful bidders is only published to the extent the contracting authority states it.
